Absolutely. SpamGenius is Google CASA Tier 2 certified. We utilize OAuth 2.0 authentication and never store your email content. Emails are processed strictly in-memory and immediately discarded. We only retain metadata (like email IDs and timestamps) to prevent reprocessing.
Our AI analyzes email metadata and content solely for categorization during processing. No human ever accesses your emails, and no content is stored or used for AI training.
We require Gmail read and modify access to analyze and organize your inbox. We never send emails on your behalf or access your contacts.

2How It Works

SpamGenius files identified spam into the "SpamGenius/4. Spam" label and removes it from your inbox. If you want deeper inbox triage, you can also turn on Smart Labels for Respond, Review, and Notification.
We use a brief questionnaire to understand your preferences across categories such as shipping notifications, marketing emails, newsletters, social media, and cold outreach. Our AI then automatically applies these personalized rules.
SpamGenius automatically processes your inbox every 10 minutes. You can also initiate manual cleanups at any time via the dashboard.
No. SpamGenius uses conservative defaults and keeps likely-important mail in your inbox. If you enable Smart Labels, non-spam mail can also be organized into Respond, Review, and Notification instead of being removed.
The Assistant keeps cleanup running in the background and sends digest emails so you can stay informed without checking your inbox constantly. In Spam-only mode it focuses on filing spam away; in Smart Labels mode it can also auto-archive labeled mail.

Yes. SpamGenius is available as an app for iOS and Android, as well as a web app. All platforms sync seamlessly with your preferences.
If your Gmail connection expires, you will be prompted to re-authenticate. This is a standard security practice with OAuth.
